Hi, I’m Çağatay KARAKURT. My story began the day I met a computer. Half of my childhood was spent outside, the other half in front of a screen; back then I had no idea it would one day become my profession and my greatest passion.
About 25 years ago, playing browser-based games, just playing wasn’t enough — I wanted to build my own game, my own map, my own world. That is exactly where my interest in web design was born.
Then curiosity turned into learning. In primary school I learned by tinkering with my neighbours’ and friends’ computers — breaking them and bringing them back to life. I studied Database Programming in high school and Computer Programming at university, then carried that knowledge into my professional career through real projects and real problems.
Today I make companies’ IT infrastructure more secure, sustainable and efficient — from server and system administration to ERP systems, from backup and business continuity to networking. On the freelance side, alongside web and graphic design, I’ve been focusing on AI and automation in recent years.
